US Army Spc. Adam Patton

US Army Spc. Adam J. Patton, age 21 from Port Orchard, Washington, was killed in action in Kandahar, Afghanistan this week when his unit was hit by an insurgent bomb.

Spc. Patton served with the 4th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment, 159th Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), based at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

His body arrived at Dover Air Force Base on Saturday 28th May 2011.
