US Army Pfc. John C. Johnson

US Army Pfc. John C. Johnson from Pheonix, Arizona, was killed in action in Kandahar, Afghanistan on 27th May 2011 while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. His unit came under fire from enemy insurgent forces.

Pfc. Johnson, age 28, served with the 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, based at Fort Drum, NY.

His body arrived at Dover Air Force Base on Saturday 28th May 2011.

  3. I was proud to have been able to stand at attention while this Fallen Warrior was returned to AZ and Luke Air Force Base today; may we never, ever forget the ultimate sacrifice this hero made for you, for me. Rest in peace, my friend.
