US Marine Lance Corporal John Wimpey Cagle

19-year-old US Marine Lance Corporal John R. Wimpey Cagle, from Tucker, Georgia, died on 28th September 2011 while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan.

He served with the 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, based at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

  1. Psalm 23:4 my son is 19yrs old and a Marine preparing for his 1st deployment to Afghanistan. He wears a tattoo of this Psalm and has faith his brother has comfort with our Lord. God Bless John and his family for there sacrifice. Our prayers are with you.
