21-year-old US Marine Lance Corporal Terry C. Wright, from Carrolton, Ohio, was killed in Afghanistan on 21st September 2011 whilst on his second tour of duty in the country.
He graduated from boot camp in October 2008, and deployed to Afghanistan for the first time in December 2009. He left for his second tour of duty in Afghanistan in July this year.
L-Cpl. Wright served with the 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, based at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

His awards include the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, and the NATO Medal for Afghanistan.
He leaves his mother, a brother and sister among other loving relatives and friends.
Terry lived for the Military. He grew up in the ROTC program at his school.Terry always said that he wanted to be a Marine. He has an older sister that was in the Air Force and an older brother that is also currently a Marine. we owe his whole family a huge Thank You, but none gave as much as Terry. We miss you buddy! I still have my red flowers displayed to remember you by. Love you Terry!
