British soldier, Lance Corporal Jonathan McKinlay, from 1st Battalion The Rifles (1 RIFLES) was killed in Afghanistan on Wednesday 14th September 2011.
The soldier was killed by a gunshot wound whilst on patrol in the village of Haji Khodin Nazar, in the Nahr-e Saraj (South) district of Helmand province.
