US Army helicopter pilot, Kenneth White

US Army Chief Warrant Officer 3 Kenneth R. White, age 35, from Fort Collins, Colorado, was one of two pilots killed on 5th June 2011 when their aircraft crashed in Khost province, Afghanistan.

CWO White was from Task Force Tigershark, 1st Battalion, 10th Aviation Regiment, 10th Combat Aviation Brigade, 10th Mountain Division. He joined the army in 1994 and went to flight training school in 2002, serving at Fort Drum since 2003.

He served in Iraq twice and deployed to Afghanistan in October 2010. He leaves his wife and three children.

Also killed in the crash was CWO2 Bradley Gaudet from Gladewater, Texas.

  2. The White family has been in my prayers all week. May God's grace and peace keep filling you again and again. No doubt there are people alive today because of Ryan's (Ken's) service to our country. He deserves the highest honor and respect.
