US Special Forces Sergeant Aaron J. Blasjo, aged 25, was killed in Wardak province, Afghanistan on 29th May 2011 from injuries sustained by a bomb blast.
Sgt. Blasjo, from Riverside, California, served with the 3rd Special Forces Group, based at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
Sgt. Blasjo joined the Army in July 2004 and had deployed three times to Afghanistan. He leaves his wife Crystal, son Talon and his parents Daniel and Bobbi.

This is one of the finest men the country can produce. His family is the finest there is. I want to thank the Veterans that showed up not even knowing him and held their flags and honored him as the family entered the church.
ReplyDeleteRIP, Aaron you fought a long hard battle and you made every american proud. I never had the honor of meeting you, but I have had the honor of meeting your parents and I know God will see them through this. So rest well and I will get to meet you someday.
