ReplyDeleteSpoke to my son serving with 2/8th this morning. He was right beside you. Thank you for taking a new Marine under your wing. You made him a strong person. He thought the world of you. You will never be forgotten. You are at peace now. God be with your family.
ReplyDeleteI know that you have positively affected the lives of numerous people in your life and have made a lot of "brothers" during your time of service...I hated hearing about you being gone. It upset me deeply and had me a little angry that I couldn't be there. We served together the first two times we went to Afghanistan. I am going to miss you as I find myself missing almost everyone we served with. You were "Gung ho" all the way. I love you, man. Take care up there. -Skipper
