Semper Fi!
The fact that his vehicle broke down and got stuck and this young Marine paid the ultimate price in an enemy attack is so sad. The vehicles break down SO freqently...that's just unacceptable. I'll be praying for his wife and family.
ReplyDeletePlease correct; it was not his vehicle that was stuck, he was assisting another Marine's vehicle that was stuck. He was conducting the recovery of the stuck vehicle when the section was attacked. It was due to terrain.
