U.S soldier, Corporal Loren Buffalo

U.S Army Corporal Loren M. Buffalo, aged 20, from Mountain Pine, Arkansas. died 9th March 2011 in Kandahar province of wounds suffered when insurgents detonated improvised explosive device close to his unit patrol.  

Cpl. Buffalo served with the 1st Squadron, 75th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), based at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He joined the army in May 2009.

His decorations include, the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star Medal, among others.
