You're death is a terrible blow to the whole family. Our first goodbye when you left for the US is incomparable to this. There are a lot of unanswered questions that your death has left behind. Dear Ryan Hizon,
ReplyDeleteHindi tayo close.
US Citizen ka di ba? Mahirap ba makapasok sa US Army? Teka, may Adobo ba dun?
Rest in Peace Ryan, May you rest in God's presence and you will always be remembered. Our deepest sympathy to Hizon family

Seems like just it was only months ago we were being in processed at 30th brotha. Seems like weeks ago we were at Fort Sam Houston. Seems like days ago we were at Fort Polk. Seems like hours ago you only left. Rest in Peace brotha. May you add to the stars to look over our soldiers over there. Miss you bro.
ReplyDelete@ Tim Seymour Thank you for taking time to give thanks to fallen soldiers. Not too many people do much to go out of their way. Usually it's a family eating dinner at a dinner table then just saying, "Thats too bad" and changing the channel.
As a follow up, this article about SPC Hizon's family appeared in today's L.A. Times. A soldier's parting gift.
