U.S Army Specialist Jameson Lindskog

U.S Army Specialist Jameson Lindskog, aged 23, from Pleasanton, California, was killed Tuesday 29th March 2011 in an attack on his patrol by enemy forces. 

Spc. Lindskog was a Combat Medic assigned to Headquarters Company. He was serving with the 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), based at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

His awards and decorations include: Army Commendation Medal; Army Achievement Medal; National Defense Service Medal; Afghanistan Campaign Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Army Service Ribbon; Overseas Service Ribbon and NATO Medal.

Spc. Lindskog is survived by his father, Curtis Lindskog of Livermore, California and mother, Donna Walker of Pleasanton, California.
