| Pfc. Rudy Acosta |
Pfc. Rudy A. Acosta, aged 19, from Santa Clarita, California, died 19th March 2011 in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, from wounds suffered when he was allegedly shot with small arms fire by an individual from a military security group.
He was a Combat Medic, assigned to the 4th Squadron, 2nd Stryker Calvary Regiment, Vilseck, Germany.He deployed to Afghanistan in June 2010.

It's been a little over a month Rudy, but we have not forgotten. We never will. We love you Rudy.
ReplyDeleteRudy died a hero protecting another soldier from a security guard employed by Tundra Security hired to protect the base but turned on the soldiers. Also killed was Cpl Donald Mickler from Ohio. Four others wounded. Please email your congressman and senators demanding the practice of hiring foreigners to guard our troops!
