| Cpl. Ian Muller |
U.S Marine Corporal Ian M. Muller, aged 22, from Danville, Vt., died on 11th March 2011 while conducting combat operations around Sangin in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force.
Cpl. Muller joined the Marine Corps in December 2007, was promoted to Corporal in June 2010 and deployed to Afghanistan in January this year.
He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
