US Army Pfc. Brandon Mullins

Alaska-based Stryker Brigade Pfc. Brandon S. Mullins, age 21, from Owensboro, Kentucky, was killed in action on 25th August 2011 when his unit struck a bomb during a patrol. Pfc. Mullins died from his injuries. The incident occurred in Kandahar province.

Pfc. Mullins, serving with the 3rd Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, based at Fort Wainwright, deployed to Afghanistan with the 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team in April this year.

  2. he was my best friend a true friend he was the most squared away but at times gooffiest soldier i knew. he was right there and so close and i could do nothing to help for that i am sorry my brother i loved u to death man all those stupid things and good things we got into i wish we could do them all over again.RIP communication

  3. He was my nephew. I am so proud of what he did; serve the army with gladness in his heart. His Grandmother Heald supported his journey through the Army. She died three days before he did of lung cancer. They are both in God's hands and will be missed greatly as they were the best and bravest of us all. May they both rest in peace!!!
