May God be with your family as they remember and say good bye to an American Hero. Thank you for your service. I know God has received another strong Angel to watch over this country. My thoughts and prayers are with you as we bring you home with honor and respect.
ReplyDeleteJesse,
ReplyDeleteEven though I didn't get the chance to meet you. My heart goes out to you and your family. Joanna and Kevin will forever bee in our hearts. You were a hero and a great father. Thank you for meeting my niece and giveing her the best gift anyone could have asked for. Your son Kevin..... Your memories will live on through him....Thank you and God Bless!
p.s. Tell my brother Jimmy, Lil Ricky, and my dad I love and miss them too! Until then RIP!
I 'met' Jesse through his father; I worked with Chief Dietrich, and other members of Chief Dietrich's unit in Mosul, Iraq. I know that Chief Dietrich was concerned about his son soldiering in a combat; I also know that Chief Dietrich was extremely proud of his son, and that he dearly loved Jesse. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Dietrich family, through this most painful time. I pray that God will eventually give you all peace. God Bless you all.
ReplyDeleteI too worked with Jesse's father in Iraq... A great man who is proud of his kids and obviously set an amazing example for his son. We will be forever grateful for the service of PFC Jesse Dietrich and that of his father. THe Dietrich family is in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteDietrich was in my platoon in OSUT at Fort Benning. He was a good kid. Rest in peace, Dietrich. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteDietrich you were one hell of a soldier even though I never saw you after OSUT. I am proud to call you a brother.
ReplyDeleteJesse, I never will forget your sweet, goofy smile when you walked into my seventh grade English class. You were always a sweet boy and what a man you became. How ironic, that during the time you were in my class we collected supplies for my husband and his squadron who were in Afganistan at the time. You will be missed and remembered.
ReplyDeleteLove ya Mrs. D ( Sharon Davis)
There is no way to put into words how much we all appreciate those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We were proud to line the streets of Granbury to pay tribute to you. Peace be with you and your family.
ReplyDeleteYou will not be forgotten D. This country will honor your sacrifice. I worked with him back in garrison and noticed what a joyful person he was. Rest in Peace.
ReplyDeleteWe will all have great stories for your son D. We will tel him how brave and loving you were. My husband looked at you as his little brother. You will NEVER be forgotten. Rest in Peace.
