US Army Sergeant Devin Daniels

US Army Sergeant Devin J. Daniels was killed in Helmand province, Afghanistan on 25th August 2011 when his patrol vehicle was hit by an insurgent bomb. The 22-year-old, from Kuna, Idaho, was serving with the 546th Transportation Company, 82nd Sustainment Brigade, XVIII Airborne Corps, based at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Sgt. Daniels is survived by his wife, Samantha, and a 7-month-old daughter, Olivia.

  1. I will not forget you Sarg. Daniels as the mother of a soldier in the same company. It has been over a year now that you have went on to a better place, and you are still fresh in my mind. I will keep your memory alive because to me, you are a true hero who knew the meaning of, "all the way". God Bless you and your family. I cry tears over the loss of your life now. It cannot be helped as Army mom and a private nurse. You are taught and do heal people most of your life as a nurse, but you cannot bring back those who have passed on to their families.
