At least nine people, including a NATO soldier, have been killed by a bomb that exploded in southern Afghanistan.
The blast occurred as a joint Afghan and NATO unit patrolled through Arghandab district of Kandahar province late on Saturday, Shah Mohammad, the district administrator, told press.
The Afghan dead included three police officers, four members of the government-sponsored militia force "local police", and one translator, Mohammad said.
