Digital Fallen Heroes memorial unveiled at Prospect Hill Cemetery

In a ceremony Saturday morning, Prospect Hill Cemetery at York PA, unveiled a new Fallen Heroes Memorial which features information and photos of more than 6,600 US soldiers lost in Iraq and Afghanistan.

11 tolls of a bell rang across the cemetery to represent the number of years the nation has been at war in Afghanistan.

The Memorial features a 46-inch touch screen encased in black granite which displays a rotation of photos from a database of fallen US military personnel. Visitors can search for soldiers by name, state and date of death.
