Spc. Orgaard, serving with the 818th Engineer Company, died as a result of injuries received when the vehicle he was in struck an insurgent bomb during a route clearance operation.
The other soldier killed in the same incident was 41-year-old Sgt. 1st Class Darren M. Linde
