Italian paratrooper, Corporal Massimiliano Randino, aged 32, was one of six Italian soldiers killed 17th September 2009, when a suicide car bomb blew up a convoy of Italian military vehicles in central Kabul.
The blast was so huge that nearby buildings shook.
Cpl. Randino served with the Italian 183rd Parachute Regiment.
The soldier was posthumously promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
