US Navy Commander Job W. Price, died on 22nd December 2012 from a non-combat related injury in Uruzgan province, Afghanistan.
42-year-old Cmdr Price was in charge of mission coordination for Navy SEAL Team 4, according to reports by CNN.
CNN reported that staff found Cmdr Price's body with an apparent gunshot wound, which has led to speculation that the cause of death was suicide. However, the incident is being investigated.

US Army Sgt. 1st Class Alvin Boatwright
US Army Sergeant 1st Class Alvin A. Boatwright, age 33, from Lodge, South Carolina, was one of four soldiers killed when their armoured patrol vehicle rolled over during an operation in Uruzgan province, Afghanistan on 18th June 2011.
Sfc. Boatwright served with 4th Battalion, 70th Armor Regiment, 170th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, based in Baumholder, Germany.
He joined the Army in February 1998. He served in Korea (1999-2000) and deployed twice to Iraq. Following his last combat tour in Iraq, he served as a Recruiting Sergeant for the Army in Dallas, Texas.
US Army Sergeant Edward Dixon
US Army Sergeant Edward F. Dixon III, age 37, from Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, was one of four soldiers killed when their armoured patrol vehicle rolled over during an operation in Uruzgan province, Afghanistan on 18th June 2011.
Sgt. Dixon served with 4th Battalion, 70th Armor Regiment, 170th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, based in Baumholder, Germany.
Sgt. Dixon, with almost 19 years of military service, began his career in the Air Force and transferred to the Army after 9/11. This was his 5th tour of duty to the middle east region that included Iraq and Afghanistan. He was due home in July this year.

Sgt. Snyder served with 4th Battalion, 70th Armor Regiment, 170th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, based in Baumholder, Germany.
Sgt. Snyder, who had celebrated his birthday days earler on 11th June, leaves his parents Alfred and Julie and two brothers, James and Justin.
US Army Spc. Tyler Kreinz
US Army Specialist Tyler R. Kreinz, age 21, from Beloit, Wisconsin, was one of four soldiers killed when their armoured patrol vehicle rolled over during an operation in Uruzgan province, Afghanistan on 18th June 2011.
Spc. Kreinz served with 4th Battalion, 70th Armor Regiment, 170th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, based in Baumholder, Germany.
Spc. Kreinz, who wanted to join the military since he was twelve, leaves his parents David and Marilyn.

Two Dutch Marines killed
Two Dutch Marines were killed by insurgents in Uruzgan province in southern Afghanistan, on 17th April 2010, the Netherlands Defence Ministry has announced. Another Marine was severely wounded in the deadly attack.
The two Marines who died are Corporal Jeroen Houweling (29yo) and Marine Marc Harders (23yo). Both were with the Dutch 1st Marine Corps.

The latest deaths bring Dutch military casualties in the Afghan conflict to 23 dead. The Netherlands has a force in Afghanistan of about 2,000 troops, who are due to be withdrawn by the end of 2010.

Dutch soldier killed in gunbattle

A Dutch soldier has been killed in a gunbattle in the southern Afghanistan province Uruzgan on Sunday, the defence ministry said.
Kevin van de Rijdt, a 26-year-old corporal, died on 6th September 2009 of gunshot wounds during a skirmish with fighters near Deh Rawood.
Van de Rijdt is the 20th Dutch soldier to be killed in Afghanistan since the Netherlands began its deployment in Uruzgan province in August 2006.

Dutch soldier killed in rocket attack

A Dutch soldier was killed and five injured in a rocket attack on the Dutch army base of Kamp Holland in Afghanistan 5th April 2009.
Azdin Chadli (20) had only been in Uruzgan for a week. He is the 19th Dutch soldier to have been killed in Afghanistan since the Netherlands joined the international forces there.
The five injured soldiers, all aged between 19 and 24, are said to be in a stable condition.
According to the defence ministry, four rockets were fired at the camp, probably by Taliban forces. One rocket hit the camp centre, one hit a nearby Afghan army base, slightly injuring two, and the others missed their targets.

Dutch Army Private Tim Hoogland, aged 20, was killed in a gun battle with Taliban insurgents on 20th September 2007 in Uruzgan province, Afghanistan.
The battle raged for some hours until reinforcements arrived.

Dutch Army Sergeant Martijn Rosier
Dutch Army Sergeant 1st Class, Martijn Rosier, 30, was killed in action on 26th August 2007 during a foot patrol at night in Uruzgan province, Afghanistan.
His unit had responded to an earlier bomb attack on a Dutch armoured vehicle.
Another Dutch soldier was injured in the same incident.

Dutch Army Lieutenant Tom Krist
Dutch Army officer, Lieutenant Tom Krist, aged 24, died 10th July 2007 from serious head injuries received from the blast of a suicide bomber days earlier in Afghanistan.
Lt. Krist had been evacuated first to a military field hospital in Afghanistan, and then to a hospital in Utrecht, where he sadly died.

Dutch Army Sergeant-Major Jos Leunissen, aged 44, was killed in action on 18th June 2007 in a fierce gun battle with Taliban insurgents. The battle took place near the town of Chora in Uruzgan province, Afghanistan.

Dutch Army Pfc. Timo Smeehuijzen
Dutch Army Private 1st Class, Timo Smeehuijzen was killed on 15th June 2007 while on patrol in the city of Tarin Kowt in Uruzgan province.
The soldier died from the blast of a car bomb that detonated beside him. Five Afghan children also died in the incident.
